But here's my latest thoughts, I have a BA(hons) and the subject I did my dissertation in has recently been featured quite a lot in some documentries (Do We as Humans Crave Danve as a Form of Entertainment). I was thinking about publishing my disso as it is quite relevant and it would be something nice to do, BUT - Why not develop my reasurch further?!?!?
I have been thinking about homing in phone if the subjects in my dissertation about arts funding and escapisme linking together to do some reasurch and theory's about how escapisme through the arts can help to boost morral and possibly employment (there are already some study's to suggest this theory, which is what I want to reasurch further in to).
So I am debating doing a MA, resurch based though. And what I want to do is very spesific so I would have to find the right place to do it at. This would all obvs be quite far ahead in the future, but it's a thought. Who knows maybe if I do an MA I will do a PHD (not quite sure on that one yet!)
For now though I want to get back to the practical side of performing as I have missed that a lot and it's what I really want to do in life.
So this is my current thought proses.
Definitely do a MA if your research is something you really want to develop but i think it has to aid what you're actually interested in. Also it's A LOT of money hence why i'm holding back to do mine, i want to save up and live the real life for a while ;) xxx
