October

So far this year I am learning to connect all of what I learn in different lessons together to help to make my movements more fluid and I am also working on arriving in the space better.
While doing movement in one lesson I am thinking about how it can connect to another (and how some movement can assist me in other lessons and visa versa.
With arriving in the space I have found rocking to be a a huge help, rocking helps to soften my body and awaken the muscles so I am free'er to move. I also find that often movement stems from this rocking.
Something that I still need to work on is keeping on moving forwards in the spaces (physically in movement).

I a finding the self study work helpful for BMC as the readings and videos help to inspire imegry. Readings can be helpful, but at the minuet I am reading them twice to get in all the information.

Reflecting on my learning from different lessons I find that they do all link it's a matter of making a connection in the moment (which I feel I am getting better at). I think that I can (and will improve on this by my next post)

  1. In terms of Arriving I find that a really helpful way of ensuring you are well arrived before a moving session AND ready to move is to arrive 15 minutes earlier. This always helps me chill out and notice how my body is feeling before I move through the session so this may help you? Also maybe refer back to your journal so you can really grasps different focal points for each week and really develop your movement further. xxx
