I was born with an exaggerated arch in the lower arch of my spine.
Recently I've noticed that it may be affecting my dance.
I have also broken my tail bone 3 times, which indicates a weakness in this area and I've noticed that this is starting to be an issue. For example I have noticed that I can't tumble as easily as the others in my class because it hurts, however normal dance does not affect it.
CAN I GET RID OF THIS ARCH? WILL IT FULLY AFFECT MY DANCE? WHAT SHOULD I DO ABOUT MY TAIL BONE?!?!?
You cant do much about your tail bone unless you want to have an operation on it, which i doubt you would want.
ReplyDeleteAlso, with arching your back, again its about realisation, I know that in college, I did ballet and my teacher noticed I arched my back alot which affected all the moves and actions I was doing. But try rolling down the spine a few times and when you feel like your arching your back, notice it straight away and try tucking in your core :) helped me quite alot!
goodluck, Lots of love!
