01/12/2011....

PILATES
We used the booms to balance our spines on to improve our core strength and balance. It was very hard on the spine and shoulders, but once we had finished my back felt free and relaxed. I also found that when we changed legs I found one leg was easier to use than the other.
IPP1
Refection on Touch
Hayley moves very differently from me, which was interesting to watch. I used touch to remind her to soften the knees and shoulders and to float the head.I made sure I combed all the way down her body so she could get the full relaxed experience.
Reflection on Feel
Having Hayley map and comb me was relaxing and was able to help me soften the knees and the shoulders and float the skull. Every time she combed my arms or legs, I could feel myself relax into the dance more. Once she left me, I found that I would use movements from my past and because she mapped my foot I found I was able to even do a bit of tap.
