Sunday night at the Paladium is such a classic enertainment show, it's history of the show, presenters, acts and even the theatre it's self plays a huge part in the entertainment industry's history! I for one am very glad they have brought it back as it is a show the whole family can enjoy and there is such a variety of acts that it appeals to all audiences. Sunday night at the Paladium was also a huge part of the monetiring of escapeisme during the tough times if britains history.
I watched the show for the first time in a long time tonight and thought it was phenomenal (as always!). Two acts that really really stood out for me where Diversity and a Canadian acrobatic group who's name I did not catch.
The things that I have always loved about Diversity;
- the age range proves that it doesn't matter how old you are or what age differents are in a cast, it teaches everyone respect for your other crew members
- the movements are so slick! Not one of them is out of time! You can tell they take their lead from who ever the front man is, and some of the sections are very simple and some sections are very complexed and full of tricks, how ever because the moves and transitions are executed so precisely it gives the ilution that what they are doing is near impossible!
- the audiences attention never left them! You know you are doing a good performance when the audience Can't stop screaming or looking at you!
The acrobatic group
- like Diversity their moves are executed with presition and the transitions are so smooth it helps make the whole performance.
- confidence, they had so much confidence throughout the performance, and doing the tricks they do they need to be!
- their timing is incredible they really kept to the beat which help the execution of the moves.
