Dissertation

My dissertation was about how humans crave dance in every day life. I felt this was an important to reasurch as I often feel that people do not apprisiate how much of an important subject it is.

I discussed story telling in the arts and how this can be used for education. This encludes things like Shakespeare and ballets such as swan lake. This section talks about through dance this is a good way for people to learn about things such as history in a non stereo typical educational environment.

Another section I have written about us escapeisme and how dance has become a huge part of this.

If I could do further reasurch on this subject I would carry on with escapeisme and the theory of how by funding the arts further we could boost the financial crisis in this country, on the basis that people would go to the theatre more to 'escape' and in doing this they would become happier and there for putting more positive I put in to their jobs and there for the financial crisis.
