Factors that affect the equilibrium and balance in the body include breathing, vision, vestibular function, musculoskeletal alignment and proprioception. The eyes (vestibular system and proprioceptors) read and adjust the head placement in relation to the environment. The respiratory system and the proprioception of the feet and body influence the stability and equilibrium of the rest of the body.
*Vestibular Function, the ears and orientation of the brain. The fluid that moves when your head does.
*Proprioception, Kinesthetic sense eg being able to balsnce while blindfolded.
