Henry IV Part 1

So about a month ago (appologies for the late update!) my class and I went to see Henry IV at the Barbican with Anothony Sher, the auther of the book 'Year of The King'. If you havnt read that book yet I advise you go do it because it is an amazing book full of advice for actors just starting out.

Unlike a lot of people I do actually really enjoy Shakespeare, just not the kings..... However I was able to keep up with the story line and I even found bits of it funny. This is due to very good acting and re-acting on the actors behalfs. By making their reactions a little bit over the top we where able to enjoy the play more as we could understand what was going on. I highly recomend it to people who struggle with the kings!
