Panto!

So over Christmas I was performing at Pendley Court Theatre, in TFC's Aladdin. Personally I LOVE panto and think it's such a valuable skill for actors to have. As panto is something that comes around every year, many actors will come out of retirement or will be relying on a panto performance for their (new or returning) big brake.

The thing I love about being a panto actor is that the whole performance is about braking the 4th wall (by interacting with the audience) it means that every performance is slightly different, which means as an actor you must remain alert, versatile and still stay in character.

This year I was a dancer and performed in the following dances:
- Tra La La
- Rise and Shine
- Land of A Thousand Dancers
- How Will I Know
- Salute
- Happy

I love performing in panto every year as it also means I get to work closely with other performers, which means I get to learn so many new skills just by going to rehersals. If you ever get the option to perform in a pantomime - take it!
