Got my new soft shoes for ballet, just seeing them up now! When seeing soft shoes it's best to use wax thread, as it's stronger, and there for safer and more sucure for your feet. I like to have mine with a back stitch, just to make sure nothing is going to come undone! Another thing a lot of people surprisingly don't do is tie the elastic at the front and pin the cross elastics with their feet in the shoe (how are you going to know the best fit if you don't try it on!). Don't forget when sewing shoes sew your elastic/ribbon to the INSIDE of your shoe, it will look much nicer for shows/auditions/exams.
These shoes are one of the Bloch split souls from Dance Direct.
